Probably most of us use a car, and this one is equipped with a battery, just like the MOBILCAM, with the difference that not one, but two batteries. Such a solution allows the tower to work without external power for 30 to 60 hours, while it should be noted that this depends primarily on the ambient temperature and the equipment used. For the tower we also have the option of selecting photovoltaic panels. This is a particularly efficient option in summer, when the fierce sun is able to transmit a large amount of additional energy, while on cloudy days we can successfully use a generator.





CONNECTION WITH THE WORLD


Another very important issue is the connection of mobile monitoring to the Internet connection, and just like a smartphone, the tower has the ability to establish a connection to the LTE network. Why is this so important? There are no perfect solutions, monitoring is not always able to capture all the critical details, so after the whole incident we may be left with video footage that will in no way help us identify the perpetrators of the crime. On the other hand, monitoring with LTE connectivity can, via the network, instantly notify the security company of the incident, so they can respond through a voice message and prevent damage by sending a patrol if necessary.


ALL UNDER LOCK AND KEY


With the issues of power supply and Internet access behind you, the only thing left is to develop a suitable place for the equipment. In addition, you need somewhere to mount the cameras and infrared illuminators. Fortunately, the manufacturer has also thought about this. Not only does the tower inside have a cabinet specially designed to store all the surveillance equipment, but also a 6-meter-high retractable mast that serves as a mounting place for cameras, illuminators and speakers.





VIDEO STORAGE


We already know that the devices housed in the tower are well protected from unauthorized access. This also applies to the hard drive, where all camera footage is stored. The tower has the additional ability to store video on an external server, which raises the level of security to the highest standards.
Having a backup copy of your recordings is particularly important, as the drive on which they are stored can become corrupted, which can result in the total loss of video or the costs associated with data recovery.


MOBILCAM FROM THE PRACTICAL SIDE


The most important thing is the right choice of cameras, and we are not talking about such issues as image resolution or video recording speed, but about image analytics. Basic cameras have motion detection interpreted on the basis of visual changes in the image, i.e. the camera can be alerted by a wind-blown tree or falling rain. In the case where our facility is supervised by a security company, sending a patrol every time an insect flies in front of the lens can be costly.
Image analytics allows the camera to identify real movement, be it of a person or a larger animal. This event is then verified by the person in charge of monitoring, the appropriate voice messages are sent, which are played through a TOA speaker mounted on the mast, and in the event that the intruder is further determined to remain on the protected premises, a patrol of the relevant services is sent.

If you already have a trailer large enough to load the MOBILCAM, you can purchase the tower alone; if you don't have a trailer and you only need it to transport the tower, just purchase the MOBILCAM with a 750kg trailer. On the other hand, when you need a trailer for other purposes as well, a tower with a detachable 1200kg trailer will be the right choice.
