GPRS-A is a universal monitoring module, equipped with a GSM phone, supporting data transmission in 2G technology.The device can work as part of burglary and robbery alarm systems, as well as automation systems.It carries out monitoring - from the control panel to the monitoring station - and notifies interested parties of selected events.Thanks to configurable inputs, supporting analog signals, it can supervise the operation of any sensors measuring various physical quantities, reporting the exceeding of preset threshold values.With a view to working with prepaid SIM cards, it is equipped with functions for their operation, allowing you to check the balance of the account and configure notifications about exceeding the minimum amount.

Full flexibility

The module will successfully find application in many already existing, as well as newly built installations. GPRS-A can receive event information from a connected control panel to relay it to the monitoring stations of security agencies or interested parties via the GSM network. The connection with the control panel is made via its dialer (the module simulates a monitoring station) or appropriately configured outputs of the control panel connected to the inputs of the module.

The module can be used to perform remote control functions, such as arming or opening the gate, among others, using a mobile application. Changing the state of the module's outputs can also occur automatically, in response to specific events.

GPRS-A can give "new life" to older alarm systems. It can also operate autonomously, such as monitoring the status of various devices and automation systems.

Monitoring of events

In the area of monitoring, transmission of information is realized:

• GPRS - using TCP or UDP protocols
• SMS messages

For GPRS event transmission, the module supports two transmission formats:

• SIA-IP (for communication with any monitoring station)
• SATEL (for communication with SATEL-produced devices: STAM-2 monitoring station or SMET-256 monitoring converter)

Notification:

The GPRS-A module allows sending notifications to up to 8 phone numbers. This function can be realized by:

• SMS messages
• PUSH messages
• cost-free CLIP service,

The device can transmit notifications via several independent paths. The event reminder will be sent via all pre-programmed paths, so the information will reach the recipient even if one of the paths turns out to be unavailable.

Remote control

GPRS-A has 4 outputs - 2 relay and 2 OC type. They can be controlled remotely and activated from anywhere in several ways:

• using SMS messages (from 8 numbers)
• from the GX CONTROL mobile application
• from a computer with GX Soft software installed
• using the no-cost CLIP service (from up to 1024 numbers)

Monitoring of objects

GPRS-A will find application on yachts, caravans, Dutch houses, among others. In cooperation with a number of detectors, it will effectively protect the interior of a given object. The module can, for example, send a notification to the owner or designated persons about the opening of the door or an attempt to start the engine.

Thanks to cooperation with, for example, temperature and humidity sensors, it will also excellently cope with monitoring environmental conditions in the storage of, for example, food or medicines:

• sending information on selected parameters on an ongoing basis
• alarming when preset limits are exceeded or the input status changes
• responding to specific events
