Abax 2 Wireless motion detector PIR APD-200

The APD-200 detector is designed for operation within a two-way ABAX 2/ABAX wireless system. It meets the requirements of EN 50131 Grade 2.

Effective motion detection is realized thanks to the dual pyroelement, digital detection algorithm and dynamic temperature compensation of the protected premises. APD-200 has a state-of-the-art lens with a unique beam distribution. It is possible to replace it with a curtain lens (CT-CL) or a long-range lens (LR-CL). Depending on the needs, the detector can also protect the approach zone - thanks to an adjustable mirror. APD-200 supervises the motion detection system - in case it malfunctions, the device will report an alarm.

Configuration, as well as updating of APD-200 software is carried out remotely. Radio communication in the ABAX 2 system is encrypted in the AES standard.

The detector is powered by a CR123A 3 V battery, the state of which is continuously monitored. The device features low power consumption. The available ECO option (only in ABAX 2) allows up to four times the operating time, without having to replace the battery.

An LED indicator signals violations in test mode, facilitating the process of testing the detector.

The device can be mounted on an adjustable ceiling/wall bracket. The detector has tamper protection against opening and detachment from the ground.
