Abax 2 Wireless smoke detector ASD-250

The device makes it possible to detect early symptoms of fire. The ASD-250 can operate autonomously, according to EN 14604 guidelines, or as part of an ABAX 2/ABAX system. It can then signal alarm conditions from other detectors logged into the same wireless system controller. Communication in the ABAX 2 system is encrypted in the AES standard.

The detector is equipped with a photoelectric visible smoke detector located in a special measuring chamber, whose unique design provides high sensitivity. A precision Hexamesh filter made of stainless steel prevents some dirt and small insects from entering its interior. The alarm is signaled acoustically and optically. In addition, the detector monitors the condition of the optical chamber - in case of its dustiness, the LED indicates the need for maintenance.

ASD-250 is characterized by low power consumption. The model is powered by a CR123A 3 V battery, the state of which is monitored - a voltage drop below a certain level is signaled optically and acoustically. In addition, the "ECO" option (only in ABAX 2) allows up to four times the operating time without replacing the battery.

The device has tamper protection against opening the housing (ABAX 2 system mode).
