Abax 2 Wireless Controlled External Signaling Device ASP-200 R

The ASP-200 R is a signaling device that informs of alarm situations by means of acoustic and optical signaling. It operates within a two-way ABAX 2/ABAX wireless system. The device complies with EN 50131 Grade 2 requirements.

Acoustic signaling is generated by means of a piezo transducer (selection from 4 acoustic signals), while optical signaling is generated by means of LEDs. Both signals can be triggered independently.

The ASP-200 R's electronics are protected against weather conditions and can operate in the temperature range of -40°C to +55°C.

Configuration and software updates are performed remotely. In the ABAX 2 system, communication is encrypted using the AES standard.

The device features low power consumption. It is powered by a 3.6V lithium chloride-thionyl battery (BAT-ER-3.6), with a capacity of 13 Ah, resistant to changing conditions. Its condition is constantly monitored. In addition, the ECO option (only in ABAX 2) allows up to four times the operating time without replacing the battery.

ASP-200 R has an enclosure made of high-impact polycarbonate, with very high mechanical strength. The siren is equipped with tamper protection, protection against opening the housing and against detachment from the ground, as well as a level for easy installation.
