PSD4D Roger power distributor

PSD4D distributes power supply voltage and RS485 communication lines to 4 transitions in the RACS 5 system. For each of the supported transitions, PSD4D offers: main power output of 1.0 A, auxiliary power output of 0.2 A and communication interface for readers. The electrical circuits dedicated to each of the transitions are electrically isolated, which means that the occurrence of a failure or tampering at one of the transitions does not affect the operation of the other transitions.

The distributor is powered by an external 13.8 VDC power supply, which is also the source of power for locks, readers and other elements of the passage. In the event of a mains power failure, the system is powered by a backup battery, which is connected to the distributor module and charged with a current in the range of 0.3-0.9 A. Electrical connections to the module are made via removable screw terminals, which make it easy to make electrical connections during installation as well as in case the module needs to be replaced.
The PS4D distributor is mainly used in access control systems built on the basis of MCT-IO series access terminals, which, based on built-in I/O lines, support a single passage with hardware.
