Product Description
MCT12M-BK-DES-IO external proximity reader
The terminal requires a DC voltage supply in the range of 11-15V. This voltage can be supplied from the MCX2D/MCX4D expander of the MC16-PAC-KIT, the MC16 access controller or from a separate power supply. The cross sections of the power supply wires should be selected so that the power supply voltage at the device does not differ by more than 1V from the voltage at the output of the power supply. The selection of appropriate cable cross sections is particularly critical when the device is powered from a source located at a considerable distance. In such a case, consider using an additional power supply placed close to the device. The minus of such an additional power supply should be connected to the minus of the controller (GND) using a wire of any small cross-section.
