SATEL GSM-X GSM/GPRS communication module
GSM-X LTE offers extensive functionality in the area of communication and support for several its tracks. The device is equipped with a cell phone supporting data transmission in LTE* technology. The module can be used to implement monitoring in alarm systems. For this purpose, it is connected to the panel dialer or its appropriately configured outputs.
An important feature of the device is the ability to expand it with an Ethernet module GSM-X-ETH, so that monitoring can be carried out via two independent tracks (data transmission via cellular network* and Ethernet). Constant monitoring of the connection status with the monitoring station and the substitutability of the transmission paths make it possible to meet the stringent requirements of the EN 50136 standard for so-called Dual Path Reporting.
GSM-X LTE allows notifications to be sent to 8 phone numbers - this can be done in several ways: by voice, SMS or PUSH messages, or via CLIP service.
The module offers extensive interoperability with INTEGRA and INTEGRA Plus control panels. Connected to the panel's RS-232 interface, it will realize monitoring and notification (in the case of INTEGRA Plus panels, the SMS content is based directly on the list of events). It also enables remote programming of these control panels using a computer with the DLOADX program, as well as administration of alarm systems using the GUARDX program.
The device can fully replace an analog telephone line, working as a backup communication path. When the line is unavailable, the module redirects voice calls to the cellular network. In the case of PBXs, it can act as an additional external line.
GSM-X LTE is equipped with 4 programmable outputs, which can be controlled remotely using SMS, CLIP, DTMF, GX CONTROL mobile application or GX Soft configuration software. Thus, it can be used to remotely control an alarm system or other devices.
Programming and configuration is done using a computer with GX Soft software installed. Connection to the module can be local (USB port) or remote (data transmission via cellular network* / Ethernet**).
Remote update of the device (its firmware) is possible through cooperation with UpServ update server.
The built-in GSM phone has two slots for nano-SIM cards. In case of lack of connectivity with the operator's network of the first card, the module automatically switches to the second one, maintaining continuity of communication.

- remotely - computer with GX Soft program, connecting with the module using data transmission via cellular network* or Ethernet**.
