Electronic key depository RKD32EXT-24
Key depository with 7" touchscreen control panel, reduced version to 24 slots 24 RFID key fobs for self-assembly with key, external power supply 12 V. The RKD32EXT-24 key depository is an electro-mechanical system for distribution and monitoring of key circulation in the facility. Each key to be monitored is permanently fused to a key ring containing a unique RFID radio proximity tag. The fusion of the key with the key ring is performed by the system user and does not require specialized instrumentation or additional seals.
Keys are stored in pockets with a mechanical removal lock. Key retrieval is possible only by authorized users and at selected times. System users are identified by proximity card and/or PIN. Authorization determines which keys and when they can be retrieved by specific system users. Keys can be divided into so-called internal and external groups. A key from the internal group can be retrieved only if the user returns all previously retrieved keys from the external group. The depository offers a so-called office mode, in which keys can be freely retrieved and returned without user identification. Keys can be reserved for a selected period. For each key it is possible to specify the maximum rental time and also the time by which the key should be returned.
In the event of a failure of the depository, it is possible to open its housing by commission using two different mechanical keys and unlock all keys. The system records events and, in particular, the time when the key was taken and returned, as well as the person who performed the action. Forcible opening of the door of the depository or its housing is recorded and can be signaled to the outside (alarm siren, alarm system). The depository is operated from a touch-screen control panel with a built-in proximity reader. One control panel can operate 4 depositories (the main RKD32 depositary and the attached 3 RKD32-EXT expansion depositories). User identification can be performed on the control panel or an external reader with Wiegand or RS485 interface (Roger). In particular, it can be an RFT1000 fingerprint reader (Roger). The control panel's simple, graphic symbol-based software means that its use can begin after just a short instruction.
The RKD32EXT-24 depositories can operate in standalone or network mode. In network mode, configuration and monitoring of key circulation is performed from the RACS 5 access control system software (Roger) and users of the depository can use the same IDs as in the access control system. In the standalone variant, the depository can be managed from the level of the touch-screen control panel or remotely, via a web browser. An SDK software package is offered for integration into third-party systems. This package is made available on an individual basis.
