Product Description

IPS-4 intelligent power relay

Four-channel solid-state relay with built-in electronic protection so-called electronic fuses. Modern controllable power distribution module dedicated to low-voltage DC power applications.IPS-4 allows to control low-current outputs (e.g. OC outputs of GSM module) of high-power receivers or cloning of high-current outputs (e.g. changing one 3A output to 4x0.7A), with each output having an independent "electronic fuse". Thanks to its universal design, the module is also ideal for power distribution, short-circuit separation in alarm systems, CCTV, access control, smoke removal systems, etc. When cooperating with 12V/DC buffer power supplies, the built-in undervoltage protection automatically shuts down the outputs when the supply voltage drops, thus simultaneously protecting the 12V battery from excessive discharge and its damage.

Main features:

four independently controlled and protected channels dedicated to powering devices (common GND)
four trigger inputs (I1-I4) via GND or +U
four status outputs (S1-S4) of power outputs OUT1-OUT4 for remote status monitoring of the module
supply voltage 10V-30V DC (with undervoltage protection)
nominal current 0.7A, each channel (4x0.7A) with possibility of summing channels e.g. 2x 1.4A, 1x0.7A+1x2.1A
protections: short circuit, overload (current limitation), undervoltage, temperature
dedicated for powering resistive and/or inductive receivers
optical signaling: DC power supply, OUT1-OUT4 outputs, S1-S4 status outputs
minimum resistance of the 'key' from which input/output voltage drops result: 10 times smaller than PTC and 5 times smaller than a fuse (@ 1A)
small dimensions 50x50 [mm]
easy installation with self-adhesive spacer sleeves
