Our statistics collected over many years in the service indicate that about 25% of damage to electronic equipment was caused by surges. An overvoltage is created by an electromagnetic field generated by a close lightning strike or a short, sudden power surge. The OPSD-5 surge arrester is designed for surge protection of Speed Dome cameras.CAUTION! Before installation, please read the following recommendations: Connection work must not be done during a thunderstorm. OPSD-5 should be connected to a good grounding system. The limiter should be placed as close as possible to the protected device.
