LZ-8/POL is a passive element and is used for power distribution. An unquestionable advantage of using LZ-8/POL in monitoring systems with power supply from a central point is the additional protection against tampering. In the absence of individual protection for each current path, it is enough for an intruder to cause a short circuit for one camera, and the entire system will be de-powered.
