Product Description
Our statistics collected over many years of service indicate that about 25% of damage to electronic equipment is caused by surges. The OPRS-1 surge arrester effectively protects the transmission line by allowing the surge current to dissipate to ground, thus providing proper surge protection for electronic equipment. The device is dedicated to applications where data is transmitted in RS-485 standard. OPRS-1 is a passive device that does not require power supply. CAUTION: Before installation, please read the following recommendations: connection work must not be performed during a thunderstorm. OPRS-1 should be connected to a good grounding installation. Place the arrester as close as possible to the protected device.
