The OPV-1LA surge arrester effectively protects the transmission line by allowing surge current to dissipate to the ground, thus providing proper surge protection for electronic equipment Our statistics collected over many years in the service indicate that about 25% of damage to electronic equipment was caused by surges. OPV-1LA does not cause loss of signal quality and is a passive device that does not require power supply. NOTE: Before installation, please read the following recommendations: Connection work must not be performed during a thunderstorm. OPV-1LA should be connected to a good grounding system. The limiter should be placed as close as possible to the protected device OPV-1LA requires proper connection The protected device should be connected to the BNC plug "DEVICE" - OUTPUT The BNC socket "LINE" is connected to the transmission line on which a surge may occur
