The CD-90B8 carbon monoxide detector is used to continuously monitor the presence of carbon monoxide in the air and to detect and alert when the safe concentration of this gas is exceeded.The CD-90B8 carbon monoxide detector is small in size, enclosed in a single housing. It uses a high-tech electrochemical sensor and electronic control circuit, allowing it to achieve a high detection rate with low current consumption. After detecting a dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide in the air, the device generates an acoustic and visual alarm and displays the concentration on the LCD screen.The device has a test/restart button, battery consumption indication and sensor failure indication. For proper operation, it does not require any additional equipment and wiring except for three 1.5V DC power supply batteries.The Chad sensor is installed at head height (e.g., the installation height in the bedroom is about 0.7 m, and in the living room 1.5 m from the floor) in enclosed spaces where carbon monoxide is likely to appear.In addition, each copy of the CD-90B8 Chad sensor has been individually tested in a Polish laboratory, in a special chamber for the triggering of the optical and acoustic alarm, caused by the presence of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere.
