Product Description

Our statistics collected over many years of service indicate that about 25% of electronic equipment damage was caused by surges. The OPV-4 surge arrester effectively protects the transmission line by allowing the surge current to dissipate to the ground, thus providing proper surge protection for electronic equipment OPV-4 does not cause loss of signal quality and is a passive device that does not require power supply. NOTE: Before installation, please read the following recommendations: The limiter is not symmetrical and the protected device should be connected to the output BNC jacks (WY-1 to WY-4). On the other hand, connect the BNC sockets of the LINE to the transmission line, on which a surge may occur. Connection work must not be done during a thunderstorm. OPV-4 should be connected to a good grounding system. The arrester should be placed as close as possible to the protected device.
