The device is designed to protect devices connected to a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet network, connected to each other by a twisted pair running overhead line It protects each wire in the four-pair cable and discharges the electrical charge to the ground The device is the first level of protection for overhead connections The condition for proper operation of AXON-AIR/DIN is that it is connected to a working ground or PE protective conductor
