FTP network cable Cat. 5e
FTP network cable Cat. 5e (outdoor twisted pair) is most commonly used for local area networks, and covers Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps speed) as well as Gigabit Ethernet (1000 MB/s) applications. This high-quality Cat 5e twisted pair cable is constructed of 4 pairs of cables twisted together, which eliminates mutual and electromagnetic interference. Made of 24 AWG pure copper, the wires are surrounded by a PE sheath, and the diameter of each wire including insulation is 0.97 mm. The aluminum foil shielded installation cable also has an additional grounding conductor. The twisted-pair cable is often used in CCTV installations, where one cable can transmit both the video signal from several cameras and power.
