ESP8266 programmer is an intermediary device for data exchange between the computer (USB port) and modules based on ESP8266 chip. The programmer makes it possible, for example, to write your own program in the memory of the connected controller, or to communicate between the computer and the module via the USB port. The interface has been equipped with a dedicated place for the board, surrounded by spring-loaded pins. Such a solution ensures that the module's pins are properly connected to the pin-out goldpin connectors, while allowing a secure, temporary installation of the programmed module. An additional convenience for programming and testing the module are the function buttons, thanks to which there is no need to manually short the corresponding pins of the module. The device is fully compatible with commonly used programming environments: Arduino IDE, ESP8266Flasher and Espressif FLASH_DOWNLOAD_TOOLS. Depending on the operating system in use, installation of the appropriate drivers may be required for proper operation of the interface. The programmer is powered from the USB port and requires no external power supply.
