Aqara TVOC air quality sensor

The air quality monitor is designed to measure volatile organic compounds (VOCs). VOCs are a large and diverse group of chemical compounds that escape into the air at room temperature. Inside the home, VOCs are dangerous carcinogenic air pollutants that evaporate under normal indoor atmospheric conditions.

Constant monitoring of air quality

The Aqara TVOC sensor is connected to the hub controller, can use changes in the concentration or level of VOCs, temperature and humidity as a condition for automation, work with smart home devices to implement various smart scenarios, and send messages to a cell phone. Most VOCs found in food products come from everyday consumer products, including sprays and aerosols such as air fresheners, cleaners, etc. Many products such as adhesives, new furniture and carpets, building materials and electronic devices also emit VOCs through the release of gases.

The Aqara TVOC air quality monitor has three integrated sensors designed with advanced electrochemical and semiconductor technology to ensure stability and accuracy. The temperature and humidity compensation algorithm can effectively reduce the impact of environmental changes, and the reading resolution can be increased to 0.01 mg/m3.
