P2P function

In IPCAM-B2-P is a technology that allows direct communication between the camera and an end device (such as a smartphone or computer) without the need for an external server. Here are the main features and principles of this function:

Direct Connection: P2P allows a direct connection between the camera and the user's device. This means that video data can be transmitted directly, without having to go through an intermediary server.
Ease of Setup: One of the main advantages of P2P is the ease of setup. Users often only need to scan a QR code or enter a camera ID to establish a connection.
Remote Access: The user can access the camera's video from anywhere in the world, provided both the camera and the end device have Internet access.

Power Over Ethernet (PoE)

Power over Ethernet (PoE) in surveillance cameras is a technology that allows data and electrical power to be transmitted to a network device via a single Ethernet cable. With this solution, cameras can be installed in locations where access to power sources is limited or non-existent. PoE simplifies installation, reducing the need for additional cables and power supplies. In addition, surveillance systems using PoE are easier to scale, as adding a new camera only requires connecting it to the PoE network. This increases the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of surveillance systems.

Wide dynamic range: DWDR

The use of extended dynamic range DWDR takes care of the quality of the recordings by detecting and making lighting corrections in areas of overexposure and lack of light. Thanks to this solution, the device is able to capture details of contrasting images.

Improved performance and optimal recording

The H.265 codec, also known as High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), offers a significant reduction in required bandwidth and storage space compared to the older H.264 codec, by better compressing video data without sacrificing image quality. This allows longer recordings to be stored on the same storage media and enables smoother video streaming on bandwidth-constrained networks. In addition, H.265 supports higher video resolution, resulting in more detailed and clearer images in surveillance systems, making surveillance and security more effective.

Automatic day/night mode

Adapted to work in all lighting conditions with visibility up to 20m even in total darkness. In addition, the Day/Night sensor switches the video mode automatically based on the amount of light reaching the lens.

IP67 weatherproof design

This housing protects the IPCAM-B2-P from external elements such as dust, dirt and moisture, which is especially important in industrial environments or dusty locations. Cameras with IP67 housing can be installed in a variety of locations, from industrial to marine, without worrying about environmental damage.

D.O.R.I.

The DORI (Detection, Observation, Recognition, Identification) parameter is used to determine the ability of video systems, such as IPCAM-B2-P cameras, to detect, observe, recognize and identify objects or people at specific distances. The values given for each of these four elements determine the effective range at which the system can perform each of these activities:

Detection (48m): The system is able to detect the presence of an object or person at a distance of up to 48 meters. This means that at this distance you can tell that something is within the camera's range of view, but you can't necessarily determine what it is.
Observation (19m): At distances of up to 19 meters, the system can not only detect an object, but also provide enough detail for the observer to get an idea of the general shape and perhaps some of the characteristics of the object, but without exact recognition.
Recognition (9m): Recognition at a distance of up to 9 meters enables the system to provide enough detail for the observer to determine the type of object, for example, to distinguish whether it is a person, a car or another object.
Identification (4m): At a distance of up to 4 meters, the system is able to provide a highly detailed image to identify specific features of an object or person, such as a face, vehicle license plate, etc., enabling accurate identification.
