Kidde Dual Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector K10SCO
The K10SCO is a dual smoke and carbon monoxide detector equipped with a voice alarm and two independent sensors. The optical one is responsible for fire alarm detection, while the electrochemical one is responsible for carbon monoxide (CO) detection.

When a fire is detected and/or the permissible concentration of carbon monoxide is exceeded, an acoustic alarm of 85dB is activated, a visual alarm (red LED) is activated, and a voice notification (in English) is emitted to inform about the type of danger detected.
A Test/Reset button allows you to control and operate the sensor. The device's memory stores information about the detection of a dangerous CO concentration or fire hazard. This allows the user to check whether carbon monoxide has been emitted in the room during absence, for example.
The sensor can be mounted both on the ceiling and wall. It is powered by 2 x 1.5V AA-type alkaline batteries. Such a solution makes it possible to install the sensor in an optimal place in the room, and provides protection also in case of a power outage in the network. The built-in automatic performance monitoring system constantly monitors, among other things, the state of the sensors and internal circuits. If a malfunction is detected, signaling appropriate to the damage is activated.
K10SCO is a device of the highest possible standards. It meets both the PN-EN14604:2006P (EN14604:2005) standard for home smoke detectors and the EN50291-1:2018 standard for Chad detectors. Compliance with the aforementioned standards has been confirmed by the independent, notified testing body TÜV Rheinland. In addition, the K10SCO is marked with the B construction mark confirming that it meets the requirements of the Polish standard PN-EN 50291-1:2018+AC:2021 for domestic carbon monoxide detectors. The tests were performed by the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection - Józef Tuliszkowski National Research Institute (CNBOP-PIB).
The device was covered by a 10-year warranty. Also, after 10 years of power activation, it will inform about the need to replace the device.
Recommended installation locations: near the kitchen, living room, living room, dining room, bedroom, basement, attic, and places where electrical appliances are used that can be a fire starter and appliances that are a potential source of carbon monoxide, such as fireplace, electric or gas space heaters, etc.
