Power Over Ethernet (PoE)

The Power over Ethernet (PoE) function in surveillance cameras is a technology that enables the transmission of data and electrical power to a network device using a single Ethernet cable. Thanks to this solution, cameras can be installed in places where access to power sources is limited or nonexistent. PoE simplifies installation by reducing the need for additional cables and power supplies. Moreover, surveillance systems using PoE are easier to scale, as adding a new camera only requires connecting it to the PoE network. This increases the flexibility and cost efficiency of surveillance systems.

Wide dynamic range: DWDR

The use of extended image dynamic range DWDR ensures recording quality by detecting and correcting lighting in places where overexposure and lack of light occur. Thanks to this solution, the device is able to capture details in high-contrast images.


Increased performance and optimal recording

The H.265 codec, also known as High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), offers a significant reduction in required bandwidth and disk space compared to the older H.264 codec, thanks to better compression of video data without loss of image quality. This allows longer recordings to be stored on the same storage media and enables smoother video streaming over networks with limited bandwidth. In addition, H.265 supports higher video resolution, resulting in more detailed and clearer images in surveillance systems, increasing monitoring effectiveness and security.
