Roger RUD-2 interface

Interfejs Roger RUD-2
RUD-2 is a miniature reader of EM 125 kHz standard proximity transponders. The reader is powered from a USB serial port which is also used for communication with the device. The RUD-2 is used as a reader for entering cards into the RACS access control system (RACS 4.3 is required) however it can also be operated from the free Roger MiniReader program. A DLL library is available for programmers who want to integrate RUD-2 support in other applications.

The RUD-2 reader can be connected directly to the computer's USB port or via a cable with a magnetic stand which is delivered with the reader.

NOTE! The following improvements have been introduced in the new version of the RUD-2 reader:
  • stable and dynamic card reading independent of computer performance
  • no need to install dedicated drivers
