Product Description

The device is used to superimpose alphanumeric characters on the camera image. The FG-50HD device, in conjunction with the SNIF-42 sniffer, allows you to capture data sent from various devices through the RS-232 port and place them in the image coming from CCTV cameras. Examples of such devices include: printers and cash registers, scales, actuators, banknote counters, time recorders and others with RS-232 / RS-485 port. The device supports analog CCTV cameras in the following standards: PAL, AHD, HD-CVI, HD-TVI, both in 720p and 1080p resolution. On the video signal side, the FG-50HD operates as a pass-through device, having a signal input and output. This allows you to display the image from the CCTV camera, with a simultaneous list of products recorded at the cash register stand. The device can serve as additional security for the sales counter. It allows to control the dispensed products according to the issued receipt.

In addition, the FG-50HD can operate in character terminal mode and display all character strings received from the controlled device. As an example, it can display weight, temperature, or other values from any sensor equipped with RS-232 / RS-485. It is possible to customize the software, such as: adding a new communication protocol supporting other devices than those specified. FG-50HD and SG-55HD devices are hardware compatible. It is possible to switch between them by means of a software update. This means that having FG-50HD you can migrate to SG-55HD by uploading only its firmware, which is available on the manufacturer's website. Exactly the same in the other direction - you can convert SG-55HD into FG-50HD. Since firmware version 1.25, it is possible to modify and upload your own fonts. A graphic mode has also been implemented in the device.
