UT-2 interface


UT-2 interface acts as a signal converter between RS232 and RS485 type serial transmission standards. UT-2 can be used to program a single access controller or to operate a networked access control system consisting of multiple controllers connected via RS485 communication bus. The use of the UT-2 chip enables two-way data flow between access control devices and a management program residing on a PC.
