MCT82M-IO-HR Hotel Terminal

MCT82M-IO-HR is an access terminal designed to control access to hotel rooms operating within the RACS 5 access control and building automation system. The terminal allows user identification via ISO 14443A/B and MIFARE® standard proximity cards. The reader's front panel features 4 LED indication indicators and a bell button. The LED indicators are designed for typical hotel signaling: do not disturb, cleaning order, food service order and assistance call.

Each of these signaling is signaled in the access control system management software and can be integrated into the hotel management system via the RACS 5 System Integration Server. The terminal is equipped with a set of 3 input lines and 3 output lines, including one relay output. Both input and output lines can be configured for any function, including operation of a door sensor and lock control. When a hotel room is retrofitted with an MCT82M-IO-CH or MCT86M-IO-CH pocket reader installed inside the room, a basic set of functionalities implementing typical access control and automation requirements in hotel rooms can be achieved within the RACS 5 system. The MCT82M-IO-HR terminal is compatible with the QUADRUS design line.
