APS-724 SATEL Buffer Power Supply

APS-724 is a switch mode buffer power supply for devices requiring 24V DC voltage, included in an alarm system or other installations. The power supply is characterized by high current capacity - 7 A. It determines the maximum current delivered by the power supply connected to the load. When the battery is charged, this value is reduced by the maximum battery charging current: 6 A (device power supply) + 1 A (battery charging). The energy efficiency of the APS-724 power supply reaches 94%. The system complies with EN 55011 Class B, in terms of the level of conducted and radiated EMI interference. It also meets the requirements of the safety standard EN 60950-1. The undoubted advantages of the design include: a built-in anti-interference filter at the input, and an active PFC power factor correction system - up to 0.99. This ensures very good and at the same time stable operating parameters, even with large fluctuations in the supply voltage. Lead-acid batteries or other batteries with similar charging characteristics can be connected to the device. This allows the system to maintain continuous operation - even for several hours - in a situation where the primary power source fails.
