Product Description

Transmitting an audio signal over twisted-pair cable has the advantage over shielded cable that any interference is cancelled, since the signal is transmitted differentially. In the audio path, galvanic separation is performed and the impedance of the 600Ω signal is matched to the impedance of the symmetrical cable, making it possible to transmit audio signals up to 1,200 meters. Two such devices are required to build a full signal transmission path.
