SCOT's bolt electric strikes are an alternative to the electric strikes commonly used in access control systems, or a complement to them in passages requiring additional electromechanical protection. A bolt electric strike consists of an actuating element containing an electromagnet which, under the influence of applied voltage, pushes out or retracts the movable pin (depending on the type of electric strike). The main element is mounted in the frame or on the door frame. The movable pin, entering the prepared hole in the door leaf, blocks it from opening. Depending on the model of electric door strike, the maximum pressure on the door at which the pin can be broken is 800 or 1000 kg. Bolt electric strikes are available both in standard version (NC - door closed without voltage) and in reversible version (NO - door open without voltage, door secured when voltage is applied). Additional mounting brackets of "S", "U" type allow mounting the electric strike on the surface or using it to lure glass doors. The electric bolt door strike is equipped with an automatic closing system. If the door is not physically opened after the control signal is triggered and the electric door strike is released - it will re-lock after about 5-9 seconds from the end of the control impulse. The electric door strike is equipped with a NO contact, which can be used in the access control system informing about the position of the controlled door. The contact remains short-circuited if the door leaf is directly in the door frame (the plate with the magnet is under the electric strike - a signal independent of the voltage state) . This allows us to transmit information, for example, to the alarm system, informing about the status of the door. On the housing of the jumper there is a two-color LED indicating the status of the entrance. If the door is locked, this is indicated by the red color of the diode - if the door is unlocked - the diode will glow green. If the solenoid of the electric strike is not powered - the diode is extinguished. The electric strike has the ability to set a time delay after which the electric strike will lock the door. This time can be set on the DIP switches on the electro-lock housing. Possible settings: 0 / 3 / 6 / 9 seconds delay after giving the control signal to open the door.
