Kidde K7CO carbon monoxide carbon monoxide detector
ELECTROCHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY
The K7CO carbon monoxide detector is equipped with a Kidde electrochemical sensor, guaranteeing a 10-year service life. Battery power supply allows the detector to be mounted in an optimal place in the room and provides protection also in case of power failure in the network.
Exceeding the permissible level of CO is signaled optically (red LED) and acoustically (loud, pulsating sound alarm with a strength of 85dB). The device's memory records information about the detection of CO concentrations exceeding 100 PPM. This allows the user to make sure that there is no carbon monoxide emission in the room during his absence. The sensor has a test/reset button that allows the user to check the operation of the device and reset the alarm indication.
The performance monitoring system continuously monitors, among other things: the sensor, internal circuits and battery status. In case of abnormal operation or low battery, a yellow LED light flashes and a warning beep sounds. In addition, the sensor is equipped with a function for quickly checking the correct response of the sensor to the CO test gas.
RESISTANT TO VIBRATION AND OSCILLATION
Thanks to its special shock-resistant design, the detector has been approved for use not only in homes and apartments, but also in caravans, campers and boats. After 10 years of power activation, the detector will remind you to replace the device.

CONFIRMED QUALITY
The K7CO is marked with the B construction mark confirming that it meets the requirements of the Polish standard PN-EN 50291-1:2018+AC:2021 for home carbon monoxide detectors. The tests were performed by the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection - Józef Tuliszkowski National Research Institute (CNBOP-PIB). In addition, it has a BSI certificate confirming compliance with the requirements of BS EN 50291-1:2018 issued by the British Standards Institution. In addition, the K7CO sensor is certified to meet the requirements of BS EN 50291-2:2019 (PN-EN 50291-2:2020) and approves the device for use in motorhomes and boats. Compliance with the aforementioned standard has been confirmed by the independent testing body British Standards Institution.
