Product Description
PoE kit for powering BCS IP video monitors. Four PoE outputs to power video monitors. Two LAN inputs/outputs, of which one output can be configured as PoE (depending on configuration). The main advantages include: high quality and protection of inputs/outputs, optical signaling of transmission and power supply for each output, ability to cascade with successive BCS-SP0406 or BCS-SP0812 switches, ability to disable PoE function for each output with a jumper (obtaining standard 10/100Mb LAN output), so it is possible to connect external panels and other network devices that do not support power after PoE.
For the developer market (multi-unit systems), a particularly valuable feature is the short-circuit islocation for each port (premises), which makes the system reliable and functions without interference, in the event of a short circuit in the system (applies to short circuits both on the data line and monitor power supply).
24V PoE kit designed to power 4 BCS IP video monitors in an indoor housing:
- Use in single-family and multi-family systems
- Includes BCS-XPoE6 unmanaged PoE switch for 10/100 Base-T LAN and 24 VDC 3A power supply unit
- 4 PoE outputs for video monitors - power and transmission over a single UTP Cat.5e cable
- Power on PoE ports is carried directly from the input (screw terminals)
- 1 LAN output/input for connecting external panels, LAN switch or other network device (camera, DVR, etc...)
- 1 LAN output/input for connecting external panels, LAN switch or other network device (camera, DVR, etc...) configurable as PoE output
- Each of the PoE outputs has the ability to disable the PoE function using a jumper (for connecting video monitors, outdoor panels, cameras, etc...)
- Optical signaling of transmission and power supply of each port
- Each PoE channel is protected independently with a polymer fuse
- Implementation of short-circuit isolation function for each output independently (a short circuit shuts down a particular premise while the whole system functions properly)
- Scalability of the system - possibility to connect PoE sets in cascade
