Smart Hybrid Illuminator is a lighting mode on the DS-2CE12KF3T-LE(2.8mm)(O-STD) camera that activates white light only when a person or vehicle is detected in the detection zone. When the subject leaves the monitored area, the LED illuminator automatically switches to infrared (IR) after one minute. The user can also select other illumination modes: LED (white light only for color images at night), IR (infrared only), or turn off the illuminator completely. The illuminator mode can be easily configured in the camera's menu, which can be accessed via a web browser.
