Surveillance Recorders


A surveillance recorder is a device to which the cameras that make up a surveillance system are connected. It is responsible for processing and recording video, so it should be compatible with the entire system and reliable.

How to choose a DVR for monitoring?

When choosing a DVR, the first thing to pay attention to is the technology of operation (IP, AHD, HD-CVI or HD-TVI). It should be compatible with the rest of the system's devices and fit your needs. However, in our offer you will also find hybrid surveillance DVRs, which will help you integrate components working with different technologies.

In addition, when buying a DVR, the following is important:

- number of channels - each channel is one camera,
- method of data compression - determining how much space the recordings take up on the disk,
- supported resolution - responsible for the quality of the recordings,
- available inputs - for connecting additional devices,
- software.
