MCT80M-BLE access terminal

The MCT80M-BLE is a miniature identification terminal designed for use in the RACS 5 access control and building automation system. The terminal enables user recognition via 13.56 MHz MIFARE® Ultralight/Classic/DESFire/PLUS standard proximity cards, as well as via a mobile device (phone) equipped with NFC or Bluetooth technology. In the case of identification using Bluetooth technology, the reading range can reach up to several meters. Other methods require bringing the ID close to the reader at a distance of a few centimeters. Mobile identification requires the Roger Mobile Key app available for iOS and Android to be installed on the phone.

The reader is equipped with two function keys labeled Bell and Light, which alternatively can be used for other purposes than indicated by their associated symbols. The MCT80M-BLE has an RS485 interface through which it is connected to the controller's communication bus. The device can be installed outdoors without the need for additional protection. Due to its relatively small dimensions, the reader can be mounted on doors to various types of cabinets and lockers. The terminal is compatible with the QUADRUS design line.
