The Eura CD-45A2 v.2 freestanding carbon monoxide detector with built-in thermometer is used to continuously monitor the presence of carbon monoxide in the air, and detect and alert when the safe concentration of this gas is exceeded. The Eura CD-45A2 v.2 carbon monoxide detector is small in size, enclosed in a single housing. It uses a technologically advanced electrochemical sensor (10-year lifespan) and electronic control system, allowing it to achieve a high detection rate with low current consumption. After detecting a dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide in the air, the device generates an acoustic and visual alarm and displays the concentration on the LCD screen. The Chad detector is set at head height (e.g. the height at which it should be set in the bedroom is about 0.7 m, and in the living room 1.5 m from the floor) in enclosed spaces where carbon monoxide is likely to appear. In addition, each specimen of the Eura CD-45A2 v.2 carbon monoxide detector has been individually tested in a Polish laboratory, in a special chamber for the triggering of optical and acoustic alarms caused by the presence of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere.
