The FireAngel FA3820 sensor is a high-end device for protection against carbon monoxide poisoning. The FA3820's unique design ensures quick response even when detecting trace amounts of carbon monoxide in the air. The detector has a 10-year built-in lithium battery, which does not need to be replaced throughout its lifetime. If a threat is detected, the detector will warn with a clear visual indication and a loud 85 dB alarm. One of the most important features of the device is a unique technology that allows to increase the sensitivity of the sensor when a small amount of carbon monoxide is detected. The reliability and high quality of the device is confirmed by the BSI certificate of compliance with EN50291-1:2018 and EN50291-2:2019. The FA3820 sensor also meets the requirements for the latest building products regulations and has the Safety Mark B. The device comes with a 10-year warranty and service life.

 





Sensor arrangement


A carbon monoxide (chad) sensor should be installed in each room where there is a fuel-burning appliance (boiler room, bathroom, living room, etc.). Installation of additional sensors is recommended in rooms where users spend a lot of time (such as the bedroom or living room)
 
 
 

 

Installation of the sensor


Wall mounting: use the template included in the box for guidance on the location of mounting holes. Drill holes in the wall and insert plastic wall plugs. Screw in the screws so that they protrude from the wall by 3 mm. Hang the sensor on the special mounting holes. The base of the sensor is designed so that the device can stand freely on the shelf.
 
 

 

Product demonstration video


The FA3820-INT sensor uses an electrochemical sensor to measure the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air. It is factory calibrated and requires no maintenance by the user. If a threat is detected, the sensor can send an alarm signal to a building management system or warning device.
