Kidde K10LLCO carbon monoxide detector Built-in battery
The K10LLCO carbon monoxide detector features Kidde's electrochemical sensor, guaranteeing a 10-year service life. Powered by a built-in battery that does not require replacement during the lifetime of the device. Such a solution allows the detector to be mounted in an optimal place in the room and provides protection also in the event of a power outage in the network. Exceeding the permissible level of CO is signaled optically (red LED) and acoustically (loud, pulsating sound alarm with a strength of 85dB). The device's memory records information about the detection of CO concentrations exceeding 100 PPM. This allows the user to make sure that there is no carbon monoxide emission in the room during his absence.
The sensor has a test/reset button that allows the user to check the operation of the device and reset the alarm indication. The performance monitoring system continuously monitors, among other things: the sensor, internal circuits and battery status. In case of abnormal operation or low battery, a yellow LED light flashes and a warning beep sounds. In addition, the sensor is equipped with a function for quickly checking the correct response of the sensor to the CO test gas. Thanks to the specially designed housing, in addition to wall mounting, the sensor can also be placed on a flat surface, such as a bedside table near the bed. It has a lock to prevent removal of the device installed on the wall. After 10 years of power activation, the sensor will remind you to replace the device.

The K10LLCO is marked with the B construction mark, confirming that it meets the requirements of the Polish standard PN-EN 50291-1:2018+AC:2021 for home carbon monoxide detectors. The tests were performed by the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection - Józef Tuliszkowski National Research Institute (CNBOP-PIB). In addition, it has a BSI certificate confirming compliance with the requirements of BS EN 50291-1:2018 issued by the British Standards Institution.
