Wide Dynamic Range - That is, high quality in difficult conditions
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) 120 dB is an advanced technology used in video surveillance cameras such as the DS-2CD2083G2-LI2U (2.8mm) to capture clear images in high contrast lighting conditions, where both bright and dark areas can occur simultaneously in the same scene. WDR 120 dB is a technology that combines two or more frames with different exposures into a single image. In practice, the camera captures two images - one with a short exposure time, which captures details in bright areas, and another with a longer exposure time, which captures details in dark areas. The camera's software then combines these images to produce a single, well-balanced frame in which all details are visible.

How does ROI work?
The ROI function allows you to define one or more areas in the field of view of the DS-2CD2935FWD-I(1.16mm) camera that are particularly important to monitor, such as entrances, cash registers, or high-traffic areas.
