WIEGAND ACCO-KPWG protocol controller transition module

The ACCO-KPWG module is designed to control one passage (e.g. door) within the ACCO access control system. The module can also operate as a standalone device. User authorization is based on a code or a passive transponder (card, key ring, etc.). ACCO-KPWG also works with terminals supporting Wiegand and EM Marin transmission protocols, as well as Dallas pastille readers.

The device features a wide range of settings, including user authorizations, time schedules for each user, with the inclusion of special holiday schemes. In addition, a memory of more than 24,000 events is available. Security of the module's settings in the event of a power outage is taken care of by non-volatile FLASH memory. ACCO-KPWG is equipped with a relay output that can be used to operate an electromagnetic lock or other device activating the passage. Thanks to additional inputs and outputs, the module can cooperate with an alarm system.

Programming of ACCO-KPWG is carried out by means of an LCD keypad or a PC equipped with ACCO-SOFT-LT software. Connection to the PC can be made via RS-232 interface or RS-485 bus via ACCO-USB converter.

v2.03 cooperates with ACCO-SOFT-LT program in version v1.03 only
v3.00 cooperates with ACCO-SOFT-LT program in version v1.04 or v1.05 only
v3.01 cooperates with ACCO-SOFT-LT program in version v1.05 only

For cooperation with ACCO-NT access control panel the module in version v3.00 or higher is required.
