Starlight - See more than anyone else
Starlight technology in surveillance cameras makes it possible to obtain clear and colorful images even in very low-light conditions by increasing the sensitivity of the camera's sensor, using special lenses and digital image processing algorithms. Camera features:
- 3D NR- Digital noise reduction prevents noise, interference from appearing on the recorded image.
- WDR 120dB- A software-based technique that allows easier identification of objects in dark areas of the image by using gamma correction (preserves natural shadows and lighting - as opposed to simply changing brightness or contrast).
- AWB- A white balance mode that adjusts the colors in the camera's image to match light of different color temperatures.
- AGC- The camera amplifies the output signal when lighting conditions deteriorate and keeps it constant.
- BLC- A function whose task is to evenly distribute light in the foreground and background. The algorithm works by automatically adjusting the brightness over the entire monitored image.
- HLC- The algorithm detects image points that are highly illuminated and then masks them, allowing effective observation. HLC mode is extremely useful for surveillance of underground parking lots. It makes it possible to read license plate numbers that are obscured by "bright spots" from headlights.
- ROI- Region of Interest system allows to increase the quality of the recorded image in the fragments of the observed scene indicated by the user. Thanks to the ROI function, it is feasible to record record economically and save the total size of video files while maintaining the original image quality in priority areas.
- SSA- Intelligent Scene Adaptation provides the camera with the ability to evaluate changes in scene, light intensity, adjusting exposure parameters on its own to get a better picture. SSA automatically lowers the brightness of heavily lit areas while increasing the brightness of darker areas.
- Defog- The anti-fog system is designed to realize the real-time needs of reactive image correction in situations of adverse atmospheric phenomena such as fog, rain or smog. A camera with Defog function automatically controls the image parameters, allowing it to maintain effective operation during changing environmental conditions.
- EIS- Electronic Image Stabilization is an algorithmic function of the camera's processor that levels out the shakes created during image recording to improve image quality.
- Privacy masks- Using the features of the camera with the function of privacy zones, it is possible to adapt the way the surveillance system operates to the spatial specifics and security requirements of a particular installation site. Thanks to the system of privacy masks, it is possible to freely designate parts of the image, which will be excluded from video surveillance.
