IPC-HFW2849S-S-IL-0280B-BLACK IP camera with efficient H.264 / H.265 image compression algorithm for cleaner and smoother video transmission at a maximum resolution of 8.3 Mpx, 4K UHD. The device is equipped with Smart Dual Illumination technology, so that the user can choose between white light mode and IR (infrared) mode When Smart Dual Illumination is active, the white light will automatically turn on only when an object is detected in the monitored area, effectively improving image quality. The ability to be powered by PoE, in accordance with the 802.3af standard, makes the device even more versatile and easier to install.

Smart Hybrid Illumination is a lighting mode on the IPC-HFW2849S-S-IL-0280B-BLACK camera that activates white light only when a person or vehicle is detected in the detection zone. When the subject leaves the monitored area, the LED illuminator automatically switches to infrared (IR) after one minute. The user can also select other illumination modes: LED (white light only for color images at night), IR (infrared only), or turn off the illuminator completely. The illuminator mode can be easily configured in the camera's menu, which can be accessed via a web browser. Adapted to work in all lighting conditions with visibility up to 30m even in total darkness. In addition, the Day/Night sensor switches the video mode automatically based on the amount of light reaching the lens.
