SMART series paint thickness meters allow you to connect to your phone via bluetooth. With the GL-SMART app, you get a number of additional functions that are not available for standard paint thickness meters. The GL-SMART app developed for Android allows you to connect to the SMART series paint meter. Depending on the meter model, we get a number of new functions that are not available for standard meters. The application currently runs on Android version 6 or higher. Ultimately, it is expected to be available from version 5. Application updates provided by the manufacturer are free of charge. The advantage of the application is that it will be refined and expanded all the time. The application can be downloaded from the Google Play store. It should be noted that the POMIAR ASSISTANT® function is only intended to help interpret measurements, it cannot be the basis for a clear answer to the question of whether the car has had body and paint repairs. Nevertheless, a lot of car appraisers don't really know what a given paint thickness means, so the above function is intended to help with that. The calibration - zeroing function ensures that the meter will measure correctly in all conditions, even after several years of use.Before the measurements, you can calibrate the meter and be sure that the measurements will be correct.The meter has compensation so that it automatically calibrates itself, but accurate calibration is always possible with a calibration plate. Beware of meters without calibration plates - in such meters, the measurement error will soon increase, because the probe is subject to wear (abrasion) and additionally affected by the aging of electronic components. Therefore, even meters worth several thousand zlotys have calibration plates and calibration function included.
