Splitters and combiners
Antenna splitters and combiners are accessories that allow multiple household members to watch TV simultaneously. Summers add up, while splitters distribute the signal emitted from one or more antennas to a single TV receiver. Check out splitters and combiners from Ivel.
Having several satellite TV receivers requires getting a signal to them, which will allow each household member to watch the programs according to their tastes and expectations. If you have only one satellite decoder , the solution will be splitters and combiners - small devices that, similar to electrical splitters, will divide the signal into several cables leading to different TV sets.
Simple and very practical devices will solve the problem of constant disputes in choosing the right channel and the movie or program that interests everyone. Thanks to the splitter, the satellite signal from the decoder will reach each TV independently.
Splitters from our offer will allow you to adjust the solution to the installation method of your satellite system and the number of TV sets you have. You can choose between outputs for two, three or four TVs, including an active splitter that additionally amplifies a signal that is too weak after splitting.
In parallel with the splitters, we offer you combiners, thanks to which you can transmit with one cable the signal obtained from multiple antennas - regardless of whether it is satellite or terrestrial TV, or even both at the same time. Such a solution allows you to enjoy the full range of possibilities without having to choose between options or make additional installations.

What is a combiner?
A combiner is a product containing devices used to sum and distribute signals from an antenna to individual receivers. Among other things, our offer includes SAT TV combiners, which combine terrestrial television (RTV) signals with satellite signals from a converter box (SAT). These products work well in transmitting the signal to the outlet.
How does the combiner work?
The combiner makes it possible to connect two antennas even from one band to one TV set, or it can also serve as an antenna splitter, and in this case allows us to connect as many as two TV sets to one antenna. The combiner is built on a decoupling transformer - so it has the possibility of mounting it to a mast or through an anten na bracket . Between the inputs and output there is usually a pass-through for direct current, which makes it possible to power antenna amplifiers through special coaxial cables .
To choose the right combiner, you should take into account such criteria as the ability to split the signal from one antenna to two TVs, as well as to connect any two antennas to one TV, the quality of workmanship and the option to pass current to the amplifiers.
What are the types of splitters?
A splitter is a plug into which several devices can be connected simultaneously. There are two types of splitters: active splitters and passive splitters.
Active TV splitters have a special amplifier in their overall design to ensure that there is no loss of signal quality during viewing. However, it is necessary to connect it to electricity, otherwise it will not work well. Active splitter - in addition to being more expensive than a passive splitter at the time of purchase, generates additional fixed energy costs due to connection to electricity. However, since these devices are small in size, the cost of using a splitter is relatively low.
A passive TV splitter has a much simpler design without an amplifier. Here the signal is divided evenly between each device, resulting in a significant loss of picture quality. However, longer distances between the antenna and the TV receiver result in greater signal loss.
What kind of TV splitter to choose?
When buying a TV splitter, pay special attention to the number of outputs. We offer splitters with from two to as many as eight outputs, which means that we can connect up to eight receivers. Some buildings require very extensive splitters.
It is important to pay attention to the quality of operation of the device, which is decisive in terms of the quality of the transmitted signal. In the manufacturer's technical specifications you can find the exact values of reflection attenuation for each frequency.
Our store also sells an advanced control panel, which will allow you to build even very complex distributions of satellite TV signals in large multi-family buildings. We invite you to learn about the advantages of such solutions.
