Distribution socket G-8/R19

G-8/R19 is a device designed for convenient connection of 8 YAP-type CCTV cables and orderly branching of power supply from one higher power supply. The G-8/R19 outlet splits the power supply to 8 outputs, each of which is protected by a fuse and has an LED to indicate when it has blown (no light means the fuse has blown). The G-8/R19 has three power input connectors that are interconnected. It doesn't matter which connector the power supply goes to, making it possible to connect either with a DC 2.1/5.5 plug or with isolated wires. This also allows the connectors to be connected in series with each other, e.g. power to the DC IN connector, from the DC IN cable terminals, using the WT-2.1 cable to the other G-8/R19 connector. No more hanging wires in the rack! Take care of wiring aesthetics. The device is ideal for connecting the power supply with a 2.1/5.5mm plug to the YAP75 cables powering the cameras. CCTV cable YAP75-0.59/3.7+2x0.5 has 2 wires of 0.5mm² each. The theoretical resistance is 3.4Ω/100m. The manufacturer of the cable states 5.5Ω/100m. By supplying DC 12V to the camera with the YAP75 cable and assuming a voltage drop of up to 11V, the power can be sent over the distances listed in the table below.
