The VMA-58A5 distributor module allows transmission of 2 video channels and 2 audio channels simultaneously.
All monitors in the premises of the building are connected to the CAT5 bus of the system through special additional modules, called signal distributors.
It is possible to connect up to 4 monitors to each signal distributor.
The task of the signal distributor is to properly process and adjust the audio and video signals for each monitor. As a rule, they are installed on the floors of a building. The modules have built-in special protection, so that damage to a single monitor in the premises will not paralyze the operation of the rest of the system.
In practice, this means simultaneous execution of max:
- 1 tenant conversation with an external cassette and 1 intercom conversation between other tenants, or
- 1 call from a tenant with an outdoor cassette and 1 call from a tenant with a console, or
- 1 tenant call to the concierge console and 1 intercom call between other tenants, or
- 2 tenant conversations with external cassettes, or
- 2 tenant conversations with doorman consoles, or
- 2 intercom calls between different tenants.
The Eura Pro CAT5 system is an ideal solution for residential facilities with a large number of users, developed according to innovative technology. It allows video intercom installation in up to 239 residential blocks up to 512 users per block. Signal transmission is based mainly on the use of CAT5 twisted pair cable, while an additional 2-wire cable is required to power the system.
The main components of the system are:
- outdoor stations (cassettes), installed at the main entrances to buildings,
- monitors installed inside dwellings, designed for audio-visual communication with the person at the entrance,
- IP converters,
- signal distributors, installed on the floors of individual buildings,
- power supplies,
- other additional accessories.
The Eura Pro CAT5 system provides not only typical functions such as calling, talking, monitoring, entry bolt control, network alarm. Various advanced functions are also available, such as:
- elevator control,
- recording pictures of visitors in the central memory,
- operation with a central console (e.g., doorman console)
- PC or doorman console as a center for management and control of the entire system.
- Control of additional devices, such as lighting or elevator.
Thanks to the use of standard CAT5 type cable and RJ45 connectors, the K5 system significantly eliminates the difficulties associated with the installation of wiring, minimizes errors and interference in the transmission of sync. The installer's work is easier, faster and does not require a large cost for a particular project. TCP/IP protocol makes the system more stable with a large number of tenants in one building.
System capacity and features:
- Maximum 512 apartments in 1 block
- Maximum of 8 outdoor stations in 1 block
- Maximum of 3 monitors per apartment unit
- Maximum of 239 blocks in the entire network
- Maximum of 14 central consoles per system (6 PCs + 8 porter consoles)
- Signal distribution function, whereby each monitor is assigned its own communication channel; such a solution ensures that any fault on the side of a single monitor will not paralyze the operation of the rest of the system
- The system allows the use of existing CAT5 cables in the network, without the need for any masonry work, which significantly saves installation costs
- Openness of the system ensuring not only quick and easy installation, but also its easy modernization
- Possibility of signal transmission over long distances - the system automatically equalizes and amplifies audio and video signals, ensuring high transmission efficiency even over long distances audio and video signals are transmitted separately, which increases the system's resistance to possible interference
- Ability to use different configurations to meet different requirements, making the system more efficient
- Extensive IP-AGENT software for system management
- Fast and convenient operation, the software detects unavailable devices in the network, updates can be made online via LAN.
