EURA VXA-47A5 2EASY V.4 splitter module
Splitter module (signal distributor) VXA-47A5 facilitates the installation of 2-wire video door entry system "EURA 2 EASY" on the floors of multi-family buildings, allows more efficient connection of 4 monitors (e.g. from one floor of the building) to the system bus, significantly reducing the length of the used connection wires.
In some system configurations, it may prove difficult to connect all system components using a simple serial chain. For example, it may be that the lengths of wire connections on some sections of the system will be too long. In addition, it may prove useful to use signal distributors with four monitor outputs - VXA-47A5. An example might be a stairwell in a building where there are 3 or 4 apartments on each floor. Then it is worth installing 1 VXA-47A5 module on each floor and connecting user monitors in the apartments to it. Before each system installation, you should make an optimal decision on the system configuration, taking into account, in particular, the permissible cable lengths of the entire 2-wire bus of the "EURA-2EASY" system.
The 2-wire system "EURA-2EASY" is a video intercom system of single or multi-locator, the main idea of which is the simplicity of installation, achieved by minimizing the number of wires used and power supplies. To connect the individual modules working in the system, a 2-wire cable and 1 AC power supply is sufficient, capable of supporting a maximum of 32 monitors and 4 outdoor stations. Thanks to the use of FM modulation for video signal transmission and ASK modulation for control data transmission, the system is distinguished by its high resistance to interference, i.e. very good image color quality at every point of the installation.
Here are the basic features of the system:
- 2-wire connection system between modules at each point of the installation, the way of connecting the two wires is arbitrary (no signal polarity),
- only 1 central power supply in the whole system,
- easy and fast installation by using terminal blocks and DIP-switches,
- possibility to install more monitors within 1 premises.
In addition to standard videophones, it is also possible to connect CCTV surveillance cameras to the system. The maximum number of outdoor stations or cameras and their possible configurations in the "EURA-2EASY" system are:
- 4 videophones,
- 3 videophones and 2 CCTV surveillance cameras,
- 2 videophones and 4 CCTV surveillance cameras,
- 1 videophone and 6 CCTV surveillance cameras,
- Maximum of 32 monitors , maximum of 4 monitors for 1 user,
- Intercom function between tenants within one system,
- Maximum distance of outdoor station from the farthest monitor 150 m.
