Video transformer TR-16/DC-RACK

TR-16/DC-RACK is designed for video signal and power transmission via twisted-pair cable (UTP, FTP). The device matches the impedance of a 75Ω coaxial cable to the impedance of a symmetrical cable, providing video signal transmission up to 400m (Category 5 twisted-pair cable) and eliminates asymmetrical interference. The video signal uses one pair of twisted-pair cable, the other three pairs are used to transmit power voltage. The TR-16/DC-RACK can be powered from one or two external power supplies (A or B). Each current path is protected by a polymer fuse and has a green LED indicating that it has been tripped (failure to light means that the power supply has been cut off). When any of the outputs is overloaded, the resistance and temperature of the polymer fuse increases (>100°C), and the LED goes out. A small current flows through the heated fuse. When the cause of the overload ceases, the fuse automatically returns to its original state.The device has a voltage drop on the polymer fuses depending on the current consumption: 160mV for I=0.5A ; 300mV for I=0.7A ; 340mV for I=1A.
