Product Description
TRO-8/400PV-RACK is designed to supply DC voltage and receive video signal from 8 TRN-1/400 devices (video transformer-transmitters), via twisted-pair cable (UTP, FTP) over a distance of up to 400 meters. The TRO-8/400PV-RACK surge arrester effectively protects the transmission line by allowing the surge current to dissipate to the ground, thus providing proper surge protection for electronic devices. The camera signal fed to the input of the TRN-1/400 transmitter, is sent to the TRO-8/400PV-RACK receiver via a twisted pair cable. In the transmitter and receiver, the impedance of the 75Ω coaxial cable is matched to the impedance of the symmetrical cable, which provides video transmission up to 400 meters. The TRO-8/400PV-RACK receiver injects unstabilized DC voltage (up to a maximum of 40V DC) into the twisted-pair cable, which in the TRN-1/400 transmitter is stabilized to 12V DC allowing it to power thermostatically controlled cameras.All parameters apply to Category 5 twisted-pair cable with 0.5mm (24 AWG) copper conductors.
