Camera features:

• 2D NR- Noise reduction system allows to maintain image clarity in situations of varying signal strength. In practice, this function protects the recordings from the occurrence of the so-called ghosting effect and allows you to maintain detailed and crystal clear video recordings.
• DWDR- A software-based technique that allows easier identification of objects in dark areas of the image by using gamma correction (preserves natural shadows and lighting - as opposed to simply changing brightness or contrast). DWDR is a cheaper and inferior variant of WDR.
• BLC- The function allows to eliminate the effect that arises when the camera is facing a strong light source, that is, when the foreground becomes dark and unreadable. The compensation consists in brightening the foreground unfortunately also at the expense of the background, which also becomes brighter. In general, the function improves image quality
• HLC- The algorithm detects image points that are highly illuminated and then masks them, allowing effective observation. HLC mode is extremely useful for observing underground parking lots. It makes it possible to read license plate numbers that are obscured by "bright spots" from headlights
• AWB- An intelligent automatic white balance system enables video footage to be reproduced with natural proportions of white hues. The AWB function analyzes the camera's operating environment and automatically adjusts the image parameters.
• Smart lighting function- The smart lighting function allows you to change basic image parameters such as exposure, contrast and brightness. The signal processor continuously analyzes the image and immediately reduces the power of the infrared illuminator when it detects overexposure. Thus, the image becomes clearer and the overexposure disappears.
• Privacy masks- Using the features of the camera with the function of privacy zones, it is possible to adapt the way the surveillance system operates to the spatial specifics and security requirements of a particular installation site. Thanks to the system of privacy masks it is possible to freely designate parts of the image, which will be excluded from video surveillance.

Starlight - See more than anyone else

Starlight technology in surveillance cameras enables clear and colorful images even in very low light conditions, thanks to the increased sensitivity of the camera's sensor, the use of special lenses and digital image processing algorithms. As a result, cameras equipped with this technology are able to capture image details and colors in lighting conditions eight times lower than those of cameras without this technology.

Dahua 5MPx 16:9 resolution

A traditional 5MPx resolution CCTV camera captures images in a 4:3 video format, and because of this, customers often complain about the loss of display quality on HD monitors (16:9) due to various image distortions. To solve the problem, Dahua is launching a new series of AnalogHD 5MPx cameras in 16:9 format.
